Visa for entry to Ukraine.

In a certain moment you have decided that you want or you need to visit Ukraine . It is a legal procedure that to enter Ukraine you need to apply your country . There are 3 types of entrance visa to Ukraine possible to get in your case. The tourist's visa, the visitor's visa and the business-visa. As our customers say, it's rather expensive to obtain the tourist's visa to Ukraine , the more so as they require reservation of a hotel room and other things that you might not feel comfortable about. In case of the visitor's visa it takes a lot of time for you and for the person who is going to send you a private invitation, so you could obtain visa , though it's less expensive. Anyway we suggest you to acquire the business-visa to Ukraine. It's fast and easy to get it opened, and it's really not expensive.

IMPORTANT!! SOMEWHERE AS OF MAY 2000 IT IS NO LONGER REQUIRED TO POSSESS THE LETTER OF INVITATION TO FURTHER PROCEED WITH THE UKRAINE ENTRY VISA. HOWEVER, POSSESSING THE LETTER OF INVITATION WILL SURELY FACILITATE THE VISA ISSUING PROCESSES, BESIDES BY INVITING ON OUR BEHALF, NADEZHDA CO. WILL HOLD ITSELF RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR STAY IN ODESSA.

The business invitation is necessary for applying for business-visa. We can facilitate your arrival in Ukraine by arranging an official business invitation issued on behalf of the agency.

The Ukraine Embassy has changed their requirements for obtaining a visa to enter the country. No longer can you obtain a visa application from the internet. Duplicates, photo copies and things like that are no longer acceptable. An original application MUST be obtained from the Ukraine Embassy in Washington D.C. or from one of the Consulate General offices in New York or Chicago.

Step 1 - The applicant must write to the office of choice and request the application. And in the request you must include a "self address stamped envelope" so that the Ukraine office can return the application. Also request a new fee and processing time schedule as they have changed and lastly, request information regarding the office of jurisdiction to apply for visa based upon the state of residency of the applicant (VERY IMPORTANT).

Step 2 - Upon completion of the application. The applicant must include his/her passport, ONE passport style photo, letter of invitation !!!

{ (ORIGINAL ONLY - FAX, EMAILED, PHOTO COPIES ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTABLE) -
So , as you understand that will be the longest stage of the process for getting Visa , we should send our original business invitation on your postal address . You can speed up the process of receiving the Original Business Invitation by ordering the
"DHL"-express delivering (3 working days)- $50.00
"Federal Express" delivering (4 working days)- $50.00.
Or you can use usual post delivering. It costs you $20 . No guarantee about the time of delivering is given. }
from a duly registered business in the Ukraine, $45.00 "MONEY ORDER" processing fee for EACH passport submitted and then the appropriate visa fee. Mail all information to the Ukraine U.S. office of jurisdiction over the state that the applicant resides in.

VERY IMPORTANT - APPLICATIONS MUST BE SENT TO THE CORRECT UKRAINE U.S. OFFICE. IF IT IS SENT TO THE WRONG OFFICE THEY WILL RETURN IT TO YOU AND YOU WILL LOSE PRECIOUS TIME.

The "same day issue" visas are NOT available any longer. The only available options are 5 and 10 business day processing times. So it is VERY important that the applicant allow sufficient time for processing before his/her departure date. It is recommended by the Ukraine Embassy that the applicant acquire his/her visa before booking their airline reservation (this may not be possible so allow plenty of time) so that there are not additional cost incurred by the applicant because of having to "change" their flight reservations.

For U.S. citizens, double and multi entry visas are available. Double entry visas are issued for a 6 month time period. Meaning the visa holder can enter the country two times during a six month period under that one visa. Multi entry visas are issued for a 3 year period. This visa holder can enter the country as many times as he/she likes during a period of 3 years.

Regarding the multi entry visa. The applicant must have an official letter of invitation from a duly registered company in the Ukraine and it is recommended that the company also obtain prior approval from the OVIR office and it is recommended that this prior approval be documented and included "WITH" the letter of invitation. And the applicant must also include a letter explaining the nature of his/her business and why a multi entry visa should be issued. Once all of this has been obtained then the process for applying is the same as described above.
